Sam Leccia and Jose Oliva came to Outlaw Cigar in Kansas City on Friday, Aug 15. What an absolute blast.

Those are two awesome guys. Jose is extremely personable and friendly. Sam is about one of the greatest guys you'll ever meet. I spent two hours at his side and felt like I had a new best friend.

Sam rolled a great custom NUb for me. He started with a Connicticut and added Habano and Candela wrappers for the custom look.

Thanks, Sam and Jose. Come back to Kansas City any time.

It was a great little event. Most of the others I'd been to were huge and busy...but this one was small and much more personable. You actually got a chance to talk to Sam, Jose and the Oliva crew. Only thing that would have made this better would have been a few adult, frosty libations....but what the hell, I was driving anyway.

Sometimes it's best with the parties to not have beer, as it tends to get out of hand.

And seeing that cigar being made was even cooler, haha

I know I probably mentioned it in another thread, but I was very happy to meet Sam and to see Jose again at The Outlaw. They really made me feel like I have known them for a long time. Sam heard it was my birthday and I asked him about the cigars he was rolling. The next cigar he rolled was for me, a barber pole Connecticut and Habano wrapper with a Cuban-style unfinished bloom at the head. I really looks great in the 2 wrapper shades! The more I smoke these great cigars, the more I like them.

sweet...kinda doubt he will remember me as we only communicated twice thru pm's at another site but he did impress me as nice and helpful....len
