Hey everyone, I just stumbled onto this website from google while looking for reviews for the nub. I just started smoking cigars about 6 months ago and i enjoy it a lot. I happened upon the nub in a local cigar bar in Boston. I'll admit that I thought it was just a marketing gimmick (which ultimately got me to make the purchase) but when i tried the 464 torpedo habano, i thought it was great. I have since tried the cameroon as well and found it to be great as well. I was always hesitant to buying a full box of cigars, being that i'm a poor college student, and also wanting to try a wide variety of cigars, but i just took the leap yesterday and purchased a box of the habanos. They were just that good

thanks to both of you, I just had a quick question, I spoke with an employee at a local shop last night. I walked in to buy a habano before my box was delivered (which should arrive today :D) but all he had was a single box of the cameroon box pressed torpedos, when i asked him if he had any more of the nubs he said he was all out of them and that there was a national back order on the habanos and that if i had got a box that i was lucky because everywhere was out of them. Is there any truth to this?

i ended up with the cameroon and though it was awesome.

Well, first I want to say welcome to the site, and welcome to the world of Nubs. I just started smoking them a few months ago, and they have become my favorite by far. My first cigar was also the Habano 464T and so far I think it's my favorite. I haven't heard of a back order, but Sam will know if there's any truth to that. I certainly hope not though. There's plenty of sites that you can purchase Nubs from and they'll sometimes have deals. I recently got some from Jack Schwartz, Cigars.com, and Cigars International. All were pretty good sites with good prices.

agreed, i actually gave someone some info on the nub this morning at a local archery shoot/cookout and got them hooked, they told me the next time they hit their local B&M they're going to give them a try
