Donna @ MissionPipe introduced me to Nubs a couple weeks ago. I was impressed, and so I came over to the tasting last night in San Jose. What a fun crowd! Sam? Quality. You can tell, the moment ya talk to him, that he is an authentic guy. With leadership like that, The Oliva Family will do very well indeed. :-)

I have a distant cousin that was a Steel Curtain member: Jack Lambert (Defensive Player of the Year, 1976...8 of the 11 Defensive starters made the pro bowl that year!)

Thats what my uncle told me. My Grandad's Cousins' Son. I believe that is the order. Pretty distant, but hey, I did say "Distant Cousin" ;-))

Yup, you sure did, but either way that's really cool. The best I have is i'm very VERY distantly related to General George G. Meade, of which Ft. Meade, the home of NSA is named after. I just so happen to work right next to the fort too.

Yes, the same Family owns them. I know Donna, she runs the Rose Garden (San Jose) store and her son runs the Pleasanton store.

They are really good folks and I have been buying my cigars from her for years now (and my good Friend Blythe up at Lake Tahoe Cigar Company!)
