That about sums it up.
Design something cool for a t-shirt and you will not only get to see your design on the next batch of nub-t-shirts but you will win one for yourself & another for a lucky friend (when they are made) AND a Nub 6-pack!

That is actually a fantastic looking design. I'm sure we could make adjustments for tshirt printing. That picture really makes me wish I had a few Nubs in my humi right now.

I have a question for Skipper and/or Sam...Does this need to be a limited color design for screenprinting (i.e. Sam's avatar is red, white and black, of which only two colors need to be printed if you're using a white, or black tshirt), or is full color acceptable?

I dont do design stuff, but a couple real easy shirts are as follows

1) polo shirt with just the leaf embroidered, or just the NUb logo instead of the man on the horse
2) the band, all the way across the chest, 3" or 4" tall, all the way across the front of the shirt

these of course work for me because I am the stereotypical conservative, often in dress as well as other beliefs, but that isnt to say I wouldnt wear a shirt with Sam's new logo on the back, in fact Id wear it to go ride my bike every morning when Im at the beach just for further marketing

I will get some files sent to skipper when I get a free minute..good point.

As far as colors...1-2 color + the color of the shirt makes the most sense dollars wise to get them mass produced.

As far as my latest shirts are concerned, I just had a handfull made as samples...they really look sweet! I will be getting them made soon.

I am getting a bunch of nub wear and accessories made and will be creating a website for purchases when I have enough items in stock to put the page up...hats should be in next week with 1 new design..it is sweet.

I would really like to produce a shirt created by one of my forum brothers/sisters. So get crackin and get me some designs!

Xavier, I took pictures of a blue tshirt and uploaded them from my camera to the computer. To change the shirt color, I just use the HUE/SATURATION slide in Photoshop.

Skip, I can't find a pocket tee around to take a picture of, so I drew one onto the existing tee...so excuse the "crudeness", but it should give you an idea.

Sam HATES pockets. I asked him why the Nub shirt doesn't have a pocket (after he got over the fact that Dave didn't put me up to it) he said: "It's a T-Shirt". I'm still lost. it aint an undershirt, if it were it would be plain white.
Anyway if he makes another batch without pockets I'll be selling velcro pockets at discount for your shirts!

I can definitely alter the colors around. When I get to work in the morning Ill change the cream to white, the background to a "richer" red and the shirt to black...."OBEY" style! When I originally did it, I was going by a faded propaganda poster and the lights were a yellowish cream and the reds were a brownish mauve, but now that you say it, the constructivist bold color scheme would probably fair well.

And Tobacmon, no laughing here man! I like where your head is at!

Nub Stand and Nub Real get my vote, put on pockets and I'll buy some. IMO keep it simple. Shirts that are too busy just seem cluttered. And while no insult is intended because the art work is excellent, the Kremlin shirts I do not like. I would not want something that may give the impression of associating a fine USA born cigar like the NUB with the old Soviet Union communist block. I don't need that on my shirt. JMHO

We have some very creative people here. Excellent! You guys partner up and go found a design company of your own.

I'd go with Nub_Stand. Simple but beautiful, crisp, clear message, nails it down. In marketing, sometimes simplicity is everything.

Maybe I'd put "Take a Stand" text next to the standing NUb, and the "NUB cigar" to the leaf, but what do I know...

I wanted to work more on all my designs, but i'm trying to crank some out and my time is scarce to work on them. As for the blueprints, i was thinking of getting some official measurements from Sam, or just measure it myself, and add them. I was looking at a bunch of blueprints for houses as reference but I didn't know how to fit it all in, and i was short on time. If he does decide to make any of my shirts, I'll definitely take his, and anyone else's comments/suggestions into consideration for adjustments before they go to print. Sam, i'm glad you enjoy them, thanks, and don't worry, we'll keep em rolling in.

I like Sam 's avatar also and would really like to see another one with the Nub coming out of the mouth (teeth) of the skeleton at an angle . All Ash except for where the band starts and the teeth biting down on it.

haha, I was born in California, so it runs in my blood.

The actual photoshop files I have are 22"x17" so it really shouldn't be cutting the images down to that size, you think maybe I should just try dropping the quality to a midpoint?

hmmmm, try saving a copy that's sized for the web, at 72dpi at a resolution closer to around 650 x 480. Then try uploading that.

But I dig it!!
