Actually this question is a Sam question, but someone in know can answer it? How much tobacco was put aside to make the NUBs. All of them are so good but I know the first run of tobacco must be limited at some point. How do you ensure the flavor profiles will be as close as possible to what they are now? Just curious.

Good question indeed.
Fortunately for Nub and all Oliva cigars for that matter, Oliva prides themselves on consistency and quality. we have more bails of tobacco in aging then you could ever imagine. Over 1 million pounds worth.
If a hurricane or some other unforeseen incident were to destroy every tobacco plant growing, there is enough tobacco in aging to continue to make Nubs and Oliva cigars with the exact constituency for the next 5 years.
Consistency will not be compromised.

I've been saying that about Oliva cigars from the start (I actually got this from Dave Wagner).
Oliva is one of the few companies that owns their own plantations, storage facilities, rolling factories... Consistance and a good price/quality ration is the result. Sam, you are lucky to be with sich a fine company (actually we who enjoy the Nubs are lucky!)
