Loose Draw

Hi Sam,

Love the cigars, especially the torpedo, unfortunatly I have scrap 4 of my last 5 nub (3 cigars 4x60 and 1 cigars 4x66) because the draw was so loose, I had to scrap them after 10 puffs! Never experience that with the Torpedo size!

I love Oliva cigars, I'm a big fan of the O serie 6x60 and they have the rolling of this big size down to an art, always perfect draw! I do not see the saw quality with the nubs.

The Torpedo are glorious with excellent draw, but not the regular round shape.

I'm I the only one with this comment?

what kinda cut you using brother? taking too much off? just nip it slightly, or if you're a little off with your bladed cutters, then Punch it, that should solve your problems

I cut my Oliva 60 gauge the same way and I do not have that problem! Also cut my perdomo 60 gauge the same way!

I can try a smaller cut or a bullet cut but doesn't seem right anyway.

well, you cant use a bullet cutter on a torp. I have not had any issues and I am a fanatic about draw. Are you accustomed to smoking a cigar with such a huge ring? Maybe there was an issue with that batch. One thing that has been universal even among the few who dont care for the cigar is they all agree the quality is superb. I agree.

Skipper, I disagree as you can use a bullet cutter on a torp I do it all the time. I do agree with you on the quality of the Nub being superb.

Tango also said he is a big fan of the Oliva "O" 60 ring gauge, so I would think he is familiar with big ring gauges.

I've smoked enough Nubs now where I feel comfortable saying this. I've never had any that were either plugged or too loose. The quality is impeccable. Nubs are designed to produce a lot of smoke, maybe you're just not used to a cigar producing that much smoke. Perhaps you were smoking a stronger NUb than the typical cigars you smoke? Even if the ones you got were too loose for your liking you have to say thats freaking impressive. More tobacco than a churchill or presidente in a 4 inch cigar and its too loose? Wow
