:( Just read the relatively mediocre Habano vertical brand tasting review in the latest CI -- average 86.8. I have to say that I tried my first Nub at the Titan Cigar event last weekend (Habano 460) and my rating would be much higher -- in the 90+ range -- I loved it and have ordered a box of the Habano 466. Since this was in no way a blind tasting I wonder if the CA guys let their prejudice for traditional vitolas come through?

To quote one of my favorite philosophers...

"Its all just a bunch of tree-hugging, Hippie crap."

Seriously though, I don't put much stock in those reviews. Yes, I do believe that what you think of something predisposes you to inadvertantly skew your impression of it. NUb is relatively new, its a novel size that until you've had one you don't realize that its not just a gimmick, so most people (myself included until I smoked one) will have a knee-jerk reaction, thinking that this cigar can't be taken seriously.

But what do I know? I'm just your average white guy.

Can you picture a Nub blind tasting?

Ok, that's not a serious question. ;)

hahaha... why not?
It wasn't until I smoked a Nub directly behind another cigar that I truely "got it" (although I was sold before)
