Well, well, well.... I'm speechless...I had my very first Nub tonight, and right from the onset - Sam, this cigar was true to its name - its a Nub!
From the first draw, it hit me like whoa... Now, I'm one to "nub" my cigars. Having a good smoke, I hate to put it down and I enjoy the best part of the cigar to the very end - the nub. Smoking this Connecticut was the best part of the cigar from start to finish.
The first leg of the cigar, immediately began with a billow of white smoke, and unlike no other, the wait for that "kick" was non existent. It carried through with a full body, and reminiscent of the cigar's heritage, the rich distinctive flavor was the prominent taste throughout and that "kick" was present from the get go! The ash was firm, and I almost did the Nub dance, and had the cigar stand, but being outside the wind blew and knocked my Nub down and so went the ash! Next time - and next Nub for me is the Cameroon....
Construction - flawless. Performance - immaculate. Burn - perfect.
