I had the opportunity to meet Sam and smoke a Nub Hbano this evening at a shop south of Pittsburgh. First off, I was skeptical, I mean a short fat cigar that was supposed to smoke for a long time? Well the Nub answered my questions. The Nub Habano 460 I smoked was an amazing cigar, It lasted 82 minutes (about 55-60 longer than I expected, and I tend to power herf) The Nub had a lot of nuances in the flavor, Leather Spice, and coffee notes(might be from the expresso vodka) and a base flavor somewhat close to an Oliva series V, Similar Habano wrappers are where this comes from I think. But the smoke was a medium full bodied, with great flavor. This is a great cigar, but more importantly Sam is a good guy I enjoyed shooting the s*&^ with him for a few hours, his knowledge goes beyond the Nub and Oliva lines, into different brands, and he has an excellent knowledge of the growing and harvesting of tobacco as well. I can't repeat anything I said there, man code, but he opened my eyes into the business even more. Thanks Sam

Gunny, you have slept at my house. I think that may account for more than herfing a few times....granted the cat didn't make it easy for you....

You can look at Lindsay all you want, just don't touch....
