Hey Sam, congrats on the new site :D I like the layout, its easy to use, not sure about the black background. But thats not really a bad thing lol

We will have multiple themes to choose from...some with white backgrounds..

I actually like the dark colors. Easy on my tired eyes. The colors of red an black and white are always striking. Love it!

Sam, I think you have a pretty generous layout for a start. I am sure if sections need to be added, they will become more apparent over time. One I had thought of was "Nub Near You" for info on retailers or shops where people can find Nub cigars. You haven't launched the cigar yet, so that is sorta moot. For now, things look good to me, IMHO. Any other ideas fellas?

Actually, I love the high tech black background. The off-white text makes it a little hard to read, but not impossible. Great layout Sam nd Stogie - excellent job!

Hmmm, I think thats why im not sure about the black, its prob the off white text that makes it hard to read

I agree. And as it turns out, I also am a cigar smokin' code-monkey by trade. White on black is great. Light gray on black is still pretty good, but prefer a sharper contrast.

The whole site looks really sleek. I agree about adding a member's list but I am sure this will continue to evolve into an awesome site! Congrats on everything.

The retailers idea is great - a list of locations and dates for the traveling launch would be awesome too. I really like the black background.

Black works very well for backgrounds...classy, easy on the eyes and on monitors...

Add in the white and gray text, plus a nice red pinstripe....

You've got a winner there...

Sections will come to you as you need them, for now, especially since you are two months till release I think you have it covered.

Then again, what do I know about classy? Look at my avatar...*grin*

I like the style chooser in the bottom left

Layout is great....Logo is killer....Sam dont forget I owna nd operate a design firm in NY. I am sure you are working on a NUB website. That badboy should be FULL FLASH brother...something I specialize in....let me know if I can help...we can make it killer man!

That's a biggie. My old eyes have a hard time with this bass ackwards color scheme. Bring on the themes!

Here's something that may or may not be a good idea.. what about something like a general discussion forum, where we can talk about anything NOT related to cigars? Most forums have one, so it was just something I was thinking about.

How about a Our Cigars page with the cigars displayed (actual size) and a small writeup to accompany them.

The only thing that I find REAL annoying is to have to scroll left and right to read a post. Like when people post a large pic, it's hard to read because it affects the whole page. Back and forth etc. Great job on everything Sam.

You definately need the ability to view this on cell phones...you need a stripped down version...text only so we can be on the toilet and read posts...

eat more fiber. Get off fast and back to your real computer. The $ you save by not surfing on the toilet can be used to buy Nubgars.

I really love the logo. And this new color scheme is better I think. The last one was good, but this one just seems easier.

I too like to black background. I would consider moving to a lighter, white lettering. I like the red accent too. The combination and use of contrasting color presents a VERY rich look and immediately ehances perceptual imagery to a top-end product (especially to those in the target market that have not tried a NUB), which is clearly where I think this new brand needs to be positioned from the git-go.
