Might Sam be interested in these? NUb could be the first cigar brand to have an exclusive on this market... <G>

ooooo, that sounds like a good idea. Do you think you could keep up with the demand Squiddy?

There's only a few people in the cigar industry I'd do this for... Sam, Dan Lopez and Eddie Ortega... And you might be surprised at the output I could generate if such were requested... <G>

Is it not a really time consuming task? Ill be honest I have no idea how you do them. But they seem as if they would take along time.

Yes, it is time-intensive... But doing one Zippo start to finish takes waaaaaaaaaaay more time than doing twenty at a time, going step by step in the process... Given a weeks lead-time, I bet I could produce at least five completed Zippos per day on a regular basis. That's not a commercial type production rate, but then again, how many would be needed?

I was thinking they would primarily be used as "door prizes" or whatever. But any pricing wouldn't be for me to decide...

I'd be down as a door prize, or a $$ maker for Sam and yourself.

what kind of zippos are you talking about? I am a collector. I have around 100 lighters now (& around 20 z-plus inserts, I use all my lighters). Including this one I had engraved with a pic of my deceased mom & dad:

architeuthis, these lighters look really cool. I hate to sound like a snob or something, but... from my experience those bic type lighters aren't too good to light cigars. Especially for large RG stogies like Nub. I even had some plastic parts soften and deform while trying one on a cigar, not to mention burnt fingers.

Now, if you could design a torch or double softflame to go along with NUbs - for example a round one with diameter close to NUb RG and colored like Nub wrappers - that I think would look cool. I could then say: "I like lighting my Nub with Nub-like Nub-lighter":D

He can make those with pretty much any lighter.

I have quite a few more, just no pictures. My Cohiba's came out nice as did the Zino Platinums.

& I made a nice El Cobre for Bulz

What do you use to coat it with. I have been having a bit of trouble with hardness.

Squid: Referring to your post!

This thread was fine until it turned into a marketing of lighters. We got way off topic here. Before posting something of this nature it would be better to PM Sam personally. If you already have then fine. I will close this so we can move on.

We love the lighters Squid so no hard feelings.
